NSPCC chooses Bank Wizard to represent the best value in terms of both time and money  
Background to the payments process
The charity has approximately 175,000 supporters who make regular donations by Direct Debit. This payment method is extremely popular as supporters can make frequent donations without having to remember to contribute. For the charity, it is an excellent method of collecting donations as the administration involved is minimal, reducing collection costs to a negligible amount.

Product selection and implementation
The NSPCC decided to introduce Paperless Direct Debit to create an even easier and more efficient way for supporters to make donations using the telephone or the charity’s website. To achieve this, it was important that the charity had in place a system that would validate the bank account details of the supporters making donations. The charity’s sponsoring bank recommended Bank Wizard and after attending a presentation by Experian Payments, the NSPCC decided to implement Bank Wizard within their live system.

Bank Wizard enabled us to implement Paperless Direct Debit and as a result, supporters are able to make donations either on the telephone or via our website. By making donations this way, we are able to capture any problems with the account as the details are keyed-in. This is important as we do not need to re-contact supporters to query bank details and in addition, we are not faced with the extra administration and associated costs”.
