Configuring Run Numbers for custom named reports

For Experian Payments Gateway to generate Run Numbers for reports output by a custom report naming rule, you must edit  runNumbers.properties. This file is in the Properties folder within the Experian Payments Gateway Server installation folder.

You specify a run number for each Service User Number and Report Type combination, using the format:

Service User Number.Report Type.Version=Serial Number

For example:

Version=1
#SUN.ReportType.Version
123456.7001.1=1
789012.1019.1=100

In this example, two Report Run Numbers have been configured for two different Service User Numbers:

• The first is for Service User Number 123456 for ADDACS reports (report type 7001). This sequence of Run Numbers starts at 1
• The second is for Service User Number 789012 for ARUDD reports (report type 1019). This sequence of Run Numbers starts at 100.
