You see a Java error message with CKR_Function_Failed in the title.
This error message is a catch-all pkcs#11 error message which is usually displayed only once with new smartcards.
Newer smartcards have had their memory size increased. This means that older machines may not be able to provide enough power via the USB port.
Click "OK" to close the window and continue working as normal.
