A Texas-based credit union has made a selection about the product it will use for mobile, voice and online banking.
Finextra reports that Amplify Federal Credit Union has chosen the platform from Q2 Software to provide these services.
Pierre Cardenas of Amplify said that the union wanted to bring in more innovative services and had an interest both in attracting new and younger clients and meeting the requirements of existing ones.
He added that the new online banking platform would help them to serve customers who had expanding enterprises and needed services like those provided by a "mega bank".
Matt Flake, president of Q2 Software, said that the new system for various forms of banking and transaction making would enable Amplify to "compete with the country's largest financial institutions".
Amplify has more than 40,000 members and is expanding.
It is member-owned and started in 1967 as IBM Texas Employees Federal Credit Union.
The name was changed to Amplify in 2006.
