Financial sector payment solution provider ACE Software Solutions has announced that it is planning to roll out an extra module for Pelican for Sepa to European customers, it has been revealed.
Pelican for Sepa incorporates Sepa Direct Debit (SDD) and allows banks and other financial institutions to make the processing of their payments centralised.
It also gives them end-to-end visibility in real-time throughout the process, the company claims.
Parth Desai, chief executive officer of ACE Software Solutions, told the news provider: "With this new component of the ACE Pelican for Sepa solution, users can be prepared for the SDD launch in November 2009. Following the typical steps for selection of the right solution…the time to take action is certainly right now."
In related news, Voice Commerce Group plans to launch a new system which will use 'voice signatures' to identify people when they make payments and other financial transactions, ibspublishing.com has reported.
